Gerald A. Steinke, a life long resident of Lake Geneva, attended Milton College, for two years, prior to graduating from Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1963. He served his apprenticeship with his father, Arnold Steinke, in Lake Geneva, WI. Jerry became a partner with his father in 1976. In 1995 Jerry graduated from Fountain National Academy Advanced Restorative Surgery, Springfield, MO. Following his father's death in 2008, Jerry became the owner/operator of the funeral home. Jerry has been an active member of the community over the years, Jerry belongs to the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva Masonic Lodge #44, and used to be apart of the Lake Geneva Lions Club and a member of the Lake Geneva Fire & Police Commission. He was elected to appear in the 1970 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America and Honored Member of Cambridge Who's Who in 2008. In 2017 he began his retirement going up north to his cottage and full retirement in 2019. Interests include Football, Baseball and Fishing.
