Obituary

Ronald Weber age 77, a long-time resident of Lake Geneva passed away in peace on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Aurora Hospital in Summit, WI. He was the loving father of Ronald Anthony Weber, Danette (Chris) Pontikis and cherished friend Sue Holder. Proud G-pa to Christo (7) and Mateo (4) Pontikis. He is survived by brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. Ron will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a man who was a loving father and grandfather. He was a business owner, tool and die maker that can fix and make just about anything, a great storyteller, funny and the man with all the answers. A regular guest and friend to Grandma Vickie's and Torcaso's Shoe repair. The most important role for Ron was a loving pet owner to Mr. Wilson his black scottie. Ron will be greatly missed.
A private family celebration will be held. For any condolences, please send them to the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) and they will be forwarded to the family. Steinke-Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lake Geneva, WI is proudly serving the family.

For me, Ron was my GREATEST Mentor and Boss I've ever had! Ron and I worked together and over the years I went from an Office Assistant for his Company, all the way to the top to join his Recruiting Team. He believed in me and even encouraged me to start my own Business. As Independent Recruiters we rocked it. I will always remember how much I loved our lunches (at what used to be The Cactus Club), hard laughs with Ron and his partner in crime Roger, his scottie Kizzy, frequent trips for coffee at Starbucks, celebrating our placements and just talking about life together. Those years were such an unbelievable run of success that he gifted me with. Ron attended my wedding and a couple years after I began having babies. I was "in the family way" as Ron would say. Life goes so fast. I was so excited to learn when he became a Grandpa. Ronnie and Danette you have such a wonderful man to call your Dad. He's one of the best men I've had the pleasure of knowing. To my friend Ron, I will think of you often and always have a smile on my face because you meant so much to me.
With a heart full of admiration and love, Heather (Picture added was taken on June 22, 2001)

What can I say about Ron. He was part of our coffee clutch family at our shoe repair shop. We shared laughter, tears and pieces of our past. We worried when he missed a day. He would help us in a jam and we were there for him. It's easy to have a good friend and harder to find a great friend. Ron was a great friend....we will miss you Ron but we will never forget . Love from your Torcaso family.
